A company must meet its obligations under the Code period. It does not matter what country or countries it does business in. The Code is an international document applying to all manufacturers and distributors of products within the scope of the Code for all countries.

Lansinoh while previously meeting its obligations under the Code as an independent entity is now owned by Pigeon, a Code violator. If the parent company is not meeting its obligations under the Code then neither does any of its subsidiaries.
