The milk that comes from donors IS tested for nutrients, protein, fat, etc as well as diseases.

Dear Friends:

Blood and milk donors are not paid. I believe that this is the law.

Alcoholics used to donate blood to make money to buy booze. There is a concern that milk donors could adulterate their milk to sell it. I believe that this is the basis for the laws against paying donors. Except for semen donors, and they probably escape this legal restriction because 1) semen can't be adulterated! and 2) male fluid and function are valued more than female. (Example: Women on medical assistance in the US have such hassles to get pumps when their babies are in NICU, yet men on medical assistance are permitted 6 Viagra tablets a month.)

Why shouldn't a company make a profit on its work? That is a fundamental element in economics. It's the amounts of profits that are obscene, as when CEOs make a zillion times the salary of their lowest level workers. Doesn't Japan limit top salaries to 27 times the lowest salary?

Corrections sought.
