Holly,
I was stunned to read your post regarding the refusal of a HMBANA milk bank
to accept less than 200 ounces from a bereaved mother. We accept any
quantity of milk form a mother who has lost a baby. This is done for the
mothers benefit...for so many of them, it seems to be very healing.
Please email me privately with your contact information or call 614.544.0813
and leave your phone number and Diane will return your call. We would be
honored to accept the milk lovingly expressed by this mother for her baby.
We consider the milk to be a gift from both the mother and her baby; as
without the baby, there would be no milk.
I would appreciate a private email identifying the milk bank. I am certain
the Director of that milk bank would appreciate being notified.
Thanks so much for helping this mother with the donation of her milk.
