Request from a mother to post, please:
"If you have a chance, could you please ask on the breastfeeding site you mentioned, if anyone else has heard of this and how they went about breast feeding. Like I explained the other day, my condition is mild and is caused by a missing 'glue' layer between the skin layers. I blister due to heat and friction mainly. This is also hereditary and bubby has a 50% chance of having the defective gene." This mother is worried about the friction element of baby suckling and especially if expressing is required. Do any of the experienced lactaladies/gents have any experience with this Epidermolysis Bullosa condition and advice or strategies which will help this mum. Thanks. Cath
