I just quickly looked at a couple of Dr Morton's videos at
www.breastmilksolutions.com
I saw two things that bothered me:
In one video,
Breastfeeding, A Guide to Getting
Started<http://www.breastmilksolutions.com/order.html>
*,* <http://www.breastmilksolutions.com/contact.html>
there was a hand on top of the baby's head.
- Babies push backwards whenever there is pressure of ny kind on their
heads, and this is counterproductive to getting good latch.
In the other video I saw,
*15 Minutes of Breastfeeding
Help*<http://www.breastmilksolutions.com/breastfeeding_mngmnt.html>
**the mother's fingers were placed (by the instructor) so close to her
areola that they touched the baby's lips.
- Babies root towards anything that touches their faces, and so this would
distract from getting a good latch.
