Permission to repost from one of my clients:

"I have this lump in my left breast - it has been there for about 6
months... seems like it changes in size - it doesn't hurt - at one point
thought it was a glogged duct... but it wont go away... went to a obgyn
yesterday for a pap smear and a check on the breast ... she wrote me a pink
slip telling me to go get it an ultra sound on the breast in questions - all
the research I did says it is rare to have anything (malignant when you are
breast-feeding but possible)
I hate the idea of having my breast poked and prodded .... I don't mind
doing the ultra sound - but what if they still don't know anything - then
more invasive testing me... ahhh - also my insurance sucks so long story
short
do you know of any good obgyn's - ... I would just like to have a good
doctor if things did get weird."

So, fellow LC's... Does anyone know of a good doctor in the Los Angeles,
CA area that would be a good fit for this mom?

Much appreciated!

Kimberly Durdin, IBCLC
