Cassidy, in addition to safe lubricants, there are also other sexual activities besides "Intercourse" and most people don't even consider them "sex." These can be as rewarding and satisfying, in addition to intercourse, or as a TEMPORARY substitute used alone, until said treatments make intercourse PLUS other activities possible and unpainful.
This is really an issue that I think we don't talk to our clients about enough.
I wonder how much the individual LC's attitude toward the importance of regular sexual activity plays into how she handles these issues with her clients?
Something to think about. As the singer said, "Free your mind, and your body will follow."
