I'm in need of a reference for a LC in Houston who is near to The Heights area if possible. My best friend from high school had a baby in December and has struggled with breastfeeding (I've offered phone support and suggested over and over that she contact a local LLL group, but.....). Baby used a nipple shield for several weeks/months and now refuses to nurse as well. It sounds like she has some kind of sucking issue - lazy suck even with a bottle - takes her 45+ minutes to finish 3-4 oz. 

She called me today asking for help.

So tell me who to send her to please!
