Hi
I have just looked up Tom Hale (2008) and Reglan has a half life of 5-6
hours, so if she stopped taking it and waited 30 hours it will have
cleared from her system.
Then there would be no overlap of the two drugs. She may have a short
term drop in her prolactin levels but this should not affect her supply
if she continues feeding / expressing

Gwen

Last request - does anyone know if it is safe or appropriate to simply
stop
taking Reglan and start on Domperidone or should Mom wean off Reglan
first?
I know in normal circumstances moms should wean off Reglan, but is it
the
same if she will be immediately starting domperidone? I have a mom
who
needs this info asap and I have no idea.

Thank you!
