Jane proposes the most sensible approach of testing it yourself to discover what research 
shows -- there is very minimal difference between the volume of milk in milliliters and 
grams of milk.  The last time I looked up the specific density of milk, it was really several 
decimals out before it would make a difference.  A baby thumping the scale or a rapid 
change in temperature might cause more of a difference and even that is relatively 
negligible in terms of assessing an infant's intake.
