Hi Mina--
I wrote a handout entitled "Breastfeeding Beyond Infancy: Informaiton
for Clinicians" that summarizes research and also discusses some
issues/concerns. Although it was designed for mothers to hand to
their clinicians, I think it has the information you're looking for.
I'm not sure if I can post an attachment to the list, but you can
download it from my blog at:
http://threegirlpileup.wordpress.com/2009/05/05/this-is-what-a-nursing-toddler-looks-like/
(just scroll down to the bottom of the entry).
If you have any trouble, feel free to email me off-list and I can send
it to you.
Best wishes,
Barbara
