Dear friends,
For an article and symposium session I am preparing I'm looking for literature references about comparison of manual vs mechanical milk expression. I have found some articles, one is the cochrane review about differences in milk yield. Cochrane concludes that mechanical pumping is more efficient in milk yield. But I know for sure some lactnetters have mentioned research that indicates that manual expression can be far more efficient in milk yield and fat contents. I did try and search the archives, but didn't find what I'm looking for. Who can help me out?

Warmly,
Gonneke, IBCLC, retired LLLL, MOM in southern Netherlands
