hello Lactnetters!
anyone who has experience as a non-military civilian working as a contractor
for a US military medical facility, please email me privately if I may ask
you some questions.
I'm applying for a contract nurse position on the maternal-infant unit at
the US Naval Hospital in Rota Spain, where the LCDR in charge is an RN
IBCLC, and she's excited that I'm an IBCLC too! An outside agency is charge
of the contract. I'm a civilian who has only worked in civilian hospitals so
I've never had to create a proposal like this before, so I have a lot of
questions about the logistics.
thank you,
vicki hayes RN IBCLC, mom of 3 amazing boys,
in chipiona spain (where today my 3-year-old asked me to stop to the car
when he saw a mare and her foal nursing. he said "mommy look! the baby
horsey is drinking the mommy horsey's milk! mommy stop! let's watch!" that
made my day!!!!!!)
