Depo lowers milk supply more often than it increases it (Parveen et
al. The Lancet, November 5, 1977). THis study had over a 1, 000 women
in it.

There are other studies that show a statistical decrease. The
studies that show an increase are critically flawed for the most part.
One big flaw is using control groups

with low milk supply!!!!! Or poor nutrition.

An association between using progestins during lactation and increased
infant mortality has been found but not published yet.

Women deserve informed consent. The product literature is misleading:
in one section it states this will not lower your milk supply and in
another it states that < 1% of

women have reported decreased lactation. In the study I quote above
14% reported it.
