You can find out who owns the domain at

For some reason, the information wasn't loading on my computer. As Susan
Burger described, there are also cybersquatters. They either hold onto a
domain that is in demand to make money off of it, or they make money off of
the advertising (via links) on their sites. There are several bogus blogs
like that too. For those of you who blog, you may come across a comment that
is so generic than links back to their blog. They make money off of the
amount of traffic they can get to their blog.
