I have come across the following statement which I am very, very
sceptical about:
"Failing to drink enough water, could lead to your milk becoming
quite thick and sticky {.........}your baby won't get all the fluid
he or she needs and you will be prone to blockages in your ducts,
which could lead to mastitis."
Is there anything I have missed in my reading and understanding of
how bf mothers make milk which could lead me to being mistaken in my
scepticism?
The statement comes from the promtional literature of someone who
makes their living from breastfeeding mothers.
