Hi Linda,
My understanding, is that the reason cheese etc is recommended over straight
cows milk is due to the reduced *lactose*. Therefore it is actually a
recommendation for lactose intolerance NOT cows milk protein intolerance.
This is so often confused though, that I do hear that people have been told
this for CMPI.
HOWEVER, I don't remember where I heard this. I am going to need this info
in the next week or so, so I will get back to you if I find more info.
If you find more substantial information, I'd love to have a copy.
