When moms question me, I always say that babies in China don't react  to 
cabbage and babies in Mexico and India don't mind pepper and
spice.  Your own baby is used to whatever you usually eat.

I don't think food avoidance is necessary unless allergies are the source of 
the problem.  I frankly believe gassiness is usually related to oversupply, 
but that is just my experience, no studies prove it.  Pat in SNJ
