He was sensitive to it if I did not take them and before I started taking
them. I read online to try them if you are breastfeeding and sure enough, it
worked!  My first son had terrible colic... screamed every night for four
hours.  It wasn't until he was a couple weeks old that my mother suggested
that I stop eating dairy.  I did and his colic was gone!  That lead me to
read about cows products and our digestive systems....  

I believe that the pills help the mothers body digest the food that she eats
better, thus making her milk easier digested by the baby.  The large animal
proteins found in dairy do pass through the mother's milk to the baby so I
think that the probiotics help the moms body better digest those proteins
before ever passing them to the baby.

All of my kids are able to eat dairy now.  They are just sensitive to it
during the first 6(ish) months of life.
