orange milk when freezing

Mom is expressing for returning to work.  When she expresses, her milk
is fine, but when she freezes it and thaws it out, it is bright orange
and has separated with chunks.  This is not there before she freezes
it. I know milk can be a variety of colors, but why the change only
when freezing and what's up with the clumpiness? Could that just be
her milk's fat?

Any ideas?
