We do not choose to breastfeed, we can only choose not to.
Every mother has the right to choose to refuse. She can refuse the baby
her breast. It's her breast, her body. She has control over it.
But none of us choose to breastfeed. Breastfeeding is what the baby
wants to do, and lactation will happen on the maternal body without any
desire or 'ticking the yes box'.
We either accept our babies to our breast, or we do not.
If we do not accept them, refuse them our breast - then another food
must be found. And that's where choice comes in.
Breastfeeding is not a choice. Refusing the baby your breast, is.<
