I would like your suggestions on what books I should buy before my husband leaves private solo practice. I will no longer have the La Leche League PL books, or access to LLL library and most of my personal books are out of date. My list so far includes Medications and Mothers' Milk Hale 2008, Breastfeeding and Human Lactation 3rd ed Riordan, Supporting Sucking Skills Genna, La Leche League Breastfeeding Answer Book, and The Nursing Mother's Herbal Humphrey . What books do you think are indispensable for an Obstetrician-Gynecologist- Lactation Consultant?
Thanks Karen Graham IBCLC, 27 year LLLL whose husband has given up on "the perfect practice" and is moving to Cooperstown, NY where most of the babies are birthed with the 10 midwives, and 7 OB/gyns back them up. We will have a life for the fist time in 23 years, and be able to visit our 5 children, and grandchildren.
