Dear Friends:
I read a post somewhere, back in the Spring (?) where some folks from
California reported that facilities were stopping to carry formula samples
because of all the paperwork required by JCAHO. Does anyone have more
details on this?
It was keeping track of all the lot numbers, to be ready for recalls, that
became oppressive.
Please respond to the list as well, for inspiration!
warmly, and wishing that we spoke more loudly about a risk of not
breastfeeding being death: more SIDS for one, and remembering that 5-month
old that died as a consequence of human milk substitute in powder form.
