As an exclusive expresser (for a 21 month old, so he has solids too) I can
say I definitely have a supply drop during menstruation. I usually express
approx 900 ml per day and during my period it can drop as low as 700, but it
jumps right back up again. Drops over two days, and comes back over two
days. I suspect a baby feeding more frequently would keep it up, but I just
continue to express as usual, because I usually express 300mL more than bub
needs to give myself some leeway.
