I contacted the the american cancer assoc with regard to "body workers"... here is the response that i received..
During your recent phone call, you asked if healthcare workers (other
than those administering chemotherapy) must wear gloves when working
with a cancer patient during chemotherapy treatments.
Because bodily fluids like urine and/or stool can contain by-products
of chemotherapy drugs, healthcare workers who come into contact with
them following chemotherapy administration should wear gloves. However,
skin to skin contact does not pose a risk to healthcare workers.
