Dear lactnetters, Please forgive me but I did archive look ups for this
and couldn't find anything, maybe I wasn't using correct terms? Does
anyone know if Good Start by Nestle, or Nutramigen, or Pregestimil are
Kosher foods?
Also was curious if these are foods that are considered forbidden for
Islamic cultures.
a. Enfamil Nutramigen and Pregestimil contain enzymes from pigs;
Fer-in-Sol drops contain ethyl alcohol
b. Nestle SMA Infant Formula- contains rennet
c. Nestle Good Start infant formula - contains pork trypsin
Thank you!
