Very nice, Rachel! :o))
You can be proud of yourself: getting a nomination from parents is the very
best thing.
Keep up the good work!
And euh... don't worry about the radio broadcast.
You will find that you know much more and will have much more to elaborate
on, than you will have time for.
I was in a radio broadcast couple of weeks ago, together with the lady who
promotes swaddling and the whole lot.
Listeners could call in and came up with the weirdest suggestions.
Interviewer would say: "And what does the lc think about this?", after which
I was supposed to come up with something clever... hahaha.
I had fun and was pleased with the result, hearing it back on the website
later on.
No use posting the link here, as it was all in Dutch, of course. ;o)
Good luck tomorrow, you'll do fine!
Bye,
Marianne

Please note, the baby in the picture *is* a breastfed baby. Far be it from
me to pull pacifiers out of other people's childrens' mouths. For those of
you who can't read Norwegian, it says the person in the picture was named
'Midwife of the Year 2008' for Norway, chosen by a jury appointed by a
commercial magazine for new parents, on the basis of letters written by
mothers. They got 300 nominees for 2008, and decided that they should
focus on someone who works with breastfeeding support post partum. Guess
that narrowed it down quite a bit :-)
