Hi everyone,
I have a 2 part question. First, I am working with a NNP to revise our current skin:skin/kangaroo policy. We are having trouble finding data that supports using this with 1000gms/less infants. If anyone has such information, or would like to share their hospital policy with me, we would be most grateful.
Second on our revision list will be our current feeding policy in the NICU. We are searching the literature for supporting guidelines for when/how much to supplement premies after breastfeeding without using test weights all of the time. Yes, the standard eval of feeding and infant behavior is included, but we need more black and white information and data. If anyone has any leads, again, we would be most grateful. Thank you all.
