Nice post, Marianne V. I think that could resolve my issue this week
of being called into the Nurse Mgr office. If I only help those asking
for /seeking help then maybe I won't be falsely accused of calling
formula "poison". I DID however review breastmilk was better and that
offering formula had side effects (increase in ear infections, SIDS,
lower IQ).
It was a young mom who was "doing both" and whom I was encouraging
to exclusively breastfeed. Guess I'm not supposed to share the truth :-(
Ahhh...always trying to figure out what "they" want my role to
be....just
support OR promotion, education and support?
