Dear Fellow Lactneters;
I work in a hospital setting and some educational material we created
has been caught in the public relations department over spelling issues.
PR wanted breastfeeding as two words but they have acquiesced on that
one. They won't give up the battle on breast-fed (hyphenated) and breast
milk (two words). Does any one have resources, professional opinions,
or confirmation on these two words and the more commonly accepted
spelling in current day breastfeeding circles? We have referenced
professional organizations, current maternal breastfeeding literature
and have emailed ILCA. Help
Thank you for your response in advance.
