Dear wise ones-
Where would I start to find evidence based information about the need for
continued supplementation with Neosure in a baby born at 35.3 weeks, now
home for 10 days, and gainining 2 ounces per day (baby has now reached due
date). Mother reports she was told to continue to supplement 4 ounces per
day until baby was 9 months old. I couldn't help but wonder why (didn't say
that to her, just clarified the amount and talked about how to do so and
maintain milk supply).
I can't seem to find the right words to search for in the archives. Or
maybe I'm combining too many words? I tried Neosure premies;
supplementation premies. Maybe not "premies" but premature?
