hi, i signed up on the army of women. luckily i dont qualify for the
milk study because i have no current or past breast ca. concerns. but,
i have breastfed a normal amount of time, 3 boys, 12, 9, and 4(5in sept.
and still nursing 2 times a day.(thats 12 consecutive years, out of 38.)
I thank god all the time my mom had the overies to stand up to the dr.
in 1970 and say "no, i wont follow each feed with 2 oz. of formula, she
is fine!" at that day that was the hosp. and that dr standing order for
everyone. but my mom(the race car driver) was well known for her
stubborn, woman rights beliefs.
katie
