I am also gob smacked.
Preparing a session on Ethics for a conference at the end of the month and
wondering what ramifications this has.
Now I will need to re-work my session to include the inconsistencies of the
IBLCE and it's stated support of the code?
AARRGGHH!

"[considering that] Medela's declared intention in marketing its
products was to support breastfeeding and breast-milk feeding and, as
needed, to provide other means for ensuring safe and adequate nutrition
for infants, consistent with the aim of the Code."
I am gobsmacked. This is exactly the same as the "declared intention" of
every formula and bottle company out there. Are there Medela-connected
folk on the Board? Or were they just born yesterday?
Wow.
