Thanks, Morrigan, for your most recent post about Facebook. The whole goal
of trolling is to divert the focus of whatever forum they frequent so that
it all revolves around them. The issue is immaterial to the troll, as long
as they get to make a splash and make things miserable for as many people as
possible. A troll is like a black hole in that all the energy in the forum
gets sucked into dealing with the troll. The troll ends up happy and the
forum is rendered malfunctional for anything except bemoaning the effects of
the trolls. Let's leave the Facebook stuff on Facebook, and keep Lactnet
free of troll influence. It's bad enough that Facebook is expending any
energy over them, without them encroaching here as well. Anyone wishing to
discuss this further is welcome to take the thread up privately - or on
Facebook. Let's get back to helping mothers to breastfeed.
