I do not think that our discussion of brand name products constitutes 
advertising. One of the best ways we have of frank and open discussions 
on Lactnet is to make sure that we understand what is being discussed 
especially in terms of the Code. Code issues vary depending on which 
product we are talking about. Vague references to unnamed products make 
it hard to achieve clarity on some of these sticky issues. I believe 
that the use of specific brand names can help in our understanding of 
issues and is in no way a vehicle for advertising or promoting specific 
products. I think we need to realize that we can tell the difference 
between a professional discussion and an ad.
