You are "nicer" than I am! ;-) I tell mothers that it is best not to use
bottles until three or four weeks, and only after breastfeeding is
well-established (no problems going on). I also explain that pacifiers
are best used only after bfg is well-established, and only for the tough,
can't-be-there-all-the-time times, like in the car. I caution parents
about falling in to the trap of a pacifier becoming a
mother-substititute, but do give them permission for judicious use.
