Pardee--I've read that the tannic acid in tea can irritate delicate skin.
I have heard though, that soaking your feet in tea can help them to sweat
less!
I can't lay my hands on anything at the moment, but I know there are studies
to support the delay of solids to avoid allergies. If a search is done many
articles will appear, esp in the allergy/immunology journals. I tell all my
breastfeeding moms to delay solids, and my formula fed babes as well. There
are so many grandmothers out there though, who tell their daughters and
daughters-in-law that they fed their babes at 2 weeks old with no problems.
It's a never-ending battle! Terry Lynn
