Hi everyone. I am a BF Peer Counselor at WIC, and one of my client's baby's is
having bloody stools from BFing. I couldn't find anything in the BAB, but I
know I remember reading somewhere that this could be an allergic reaction to
either the mother's milk, or something in the mother's diet that the baby is
allergic to. Could anyone point me in the direction to help this mom figure this
out?
She is currently pumping and freezing her milk, but her Dr. gave the baby an
Rx for soy formula. Baby was born on 2-10.
Thanks for your help.
Elizabeth,
LLLL, WIC PC
