a Chiuhuahua is a tiny dog. It is also a place.
Many years ago my mother-in-laws 2 Chiuhuahua's, had puppies within days of
each other. The second mother to give birth dies. The first mother dog fed
all the pups! We rotated them, putting the older, bigger puppies with her
and then switched to the new puppies. (The older pups just pushed the
smaller pups away.) They all grew just fine and after a week or 2 we put
them all together. I can't remember now how many pups, I think 5 or 6 - it
was 50+ years ago!
PS: I have lots of patients whose parents come from Oaxaca -
Wa -ha-kah :-) They are a short, stout people, native Mexican, without much
Spanish influence in their genes. Pat in SNJ
