Subject: Medela pump sales
I am fuming! I have just met a man who works for the 'Burlington Coat Factory" here in Roanoke - he sells Medela breastpumps. He knows NOTHING about sizing, frequency of pumping, storage of breastmilk etc.
I asked him what he would say if a woman came back to him complaining of low supply or sore nipples - he sniggered!!!
I have just sent a strongly worded e-mail to Medela. Our lactation department is about five miles away from this store, the least they could do would be to have our number there in case a mom has problems!
I called 'Babies R us ' after the last comments about them selling pumps and was relieved when our branch did not sell them - and now this!!!!
What next I wonder- Petsmart????
