   I was asked by one of my moms this question, and told her I would pass it
on to yall, as I have never heard of anything like this, and am hoping one
of you out there has!  Please read the following and let me know!  Thanks!

"I have a question about some frozen breast milk that I was hoping that you
could answer as well: Tonight I went to transfer some frozen milk cubes from
the ice tray type of container to the plastic bags and found white spots
over half of the cubes. The spots just seem to be on the top of the cubes
not all the way through them. They seem almost powdery and I can scrape off
the white spots with my finger nail. The milk in these cubes also has a
brown tinge while the other half of the cubes is a yellow color that I'm
used to seeing.

If the spots were on something I found in the refrigerator I would think it
is mold, but I'm not sure how that would be possible since the milk has been
frozen. The cubes are about 3-4 weeks old. I did take the ice tray out once
about a week ago to make the transfer to the bags but put it right back in
the freezer when I realized I didn't have time to complete the task. I'd
hate to have to throw them out, but don't want to give Irene milk that has
gone bad."
