HiI,
Newsweek had a piece on US Swimmer Dana Torres in which she speaks of
having just finished breastfeeding her daughter before swimming in a
qualifiying match. I don't have the exact issue and quote b/c the magazine is
part of our World Breastfeeding Month display at the local library. That part of
the display was attracting attention before I even finished the window!
Re: the swimmer with the malformed teeth and jaw. I was watching last night
and remember thinking, "poor tongue-tied darling probably drove his mom
nuts!". I agree, he is a Palmer Poster Child!
An aside, I have more familiarity with winter olympic sports and at one time
rented a breastpump to a famous figure skater. Details withheld due to
confidentiality of course, but needless to say I was starstruck!
