I am personally dealing with the same issues now. My third son was born at
34 weeks. He is also anemic and goes through bouts of being severely anemic
which leads him to get sick, tired, crampy, etc.
We recently realized that when his levels get below borderline, it is always
at the same time that I get my period. I have always had iron issues as
well so I would assume that my levels drop when my period starts and he then
has iron issues as well.
I have also taken supplements and have been thinking that they are helping
him... he gets better when I start taking them.
If anyone has any solid information to disprove this, I would love to read it.
