I have, what is for me, a unique situation and would like to get any thoughts
from you all. I am posting with permission from this pregnant mom.
I have a co-worker who is pregnant with her first baby and at 28 weeks felt
so engorged that she hand expressed and was able to obtain about 15cc of
golden colostrum. Weekly since then, she has had to hand express to
alleviate a feeling of fullness. Today she is 35 weeks and brought in her
breast pump for help assembling it. (Not so she can start using it...just
because she could not figure it out) She put the pump on to see if it was
working and obtained approximately 3cc of white milk in about 1-2 minutes.
The only thing she reports in her health history is a low progesterone level.
She tried for 10 months to get pregnant, took clomid and got pregnant in the
first month of clomid.
Is this normal? Any thoughts?
Thanks,
