It's unfortunate that some remember the commercial as saying
breastfeeding... flat. It's understandable when bf's are so used to being
beaten down and when others have negative thoughts of it firmly in their m
inds but it clearly was not the intent of the commercial. I'm sure they didn't
mean for this to happen though the controversy likely brought them even
more name recognition.
Now, before everyone decides I work there, I recently stopped using Suave
myself as I've found another shampoo that doesn't have the
methylisothiazolinone and methylchloroisothiazolinone in Suave, nor the
quaternium and paraben found in other shampoos. Though shampoo doesn't
stay against the skin for long (if you rinse well), there's no reason to risk
absorbing these, storing them, and passing them on to fetus and nursling.
