Many of you have read the New Yorker piece, "Baby Food," on the politics of breast pumps. This follow-up interview aired yesterday on NPR's Talk of the Nation. I recommend sitting down for this one. As for those of you who may catch up on podcasts while pumping, well I just don't know how to advise you.....

My apologies to anyone who cannot access the link. It is an extraordinarily unfortunate piece and I don't know where to begin with my response. I hope others will be moved to comment on the NPR website.
