Hi,
I wonder if the mother in law is concerned about the risks of her
grandbaby being given formula? Or prematurely weaned? We don't know
that the mother isn't having a drink after the baby has fed - she might
be completely well informed about breastfeeding? I wonder if the mother
in law has considered the risks of the baby having little contact with
her grandmother after a major family falling out between mother in law
and daughter in law? That would seem to be a really big risk as far as
I'm concerned - not good when MIL has transported herself across country
to be with the family. How do we know the *mother* is having the wine -
and not the father or that they aren't sharing it at the end of a long
day? Good on the father for standing up for his wife. Why was she
*looking* for the wine bottle? Maybe the mother *needed* a glass of
wine to cope with her mother in law - I know I need a few to cope with
mine.
Regards Barb (only partially tongue in cheek)
