You'll find it in the archives, as it was discussed last year. It was
posited as probably part of the reaction to oxytocin.
I suffer from it, and stress makes it worse. In me, I feel slightly
itchy, and when I scratch I get red weals as if I'd been pulled through
a hedge backwards. It only ever itches, and if it's very bad, I take an
anti-histamine, more to stop me scratching. (Although I never took an
anti-H until late in my first year of nursing.) If it's bad, I know
it's a sign to de-stress. :-)
Some mothers report it as hives.
