Maggie Payne posts an elaborate story related to her at a meeting, of a
mother whose breastmilk turned out on testing to have no sugar in it and was
therefore worthless. Her baby's blood sugar only went to 'normal' when fed
formula.
This is a new twist for me, Maggie, and I'm sure we'll all be holding our
breaths waiting for the clinicians involved to write it up as a case study
for a professional journal, complete with documentation of the testing
methods and the results.
Sounds like a more detailed version of the 'there was no nutrition in my
milk' legend to me. Sheesh.
