A notice on the bulletin board says all of Mat-Child is invited to lunch Monday, provided by Medimmune so they can talk about Synagis. When I suggested that doesn't apply to LCs because we don't use Synagis, I was told, "You don't understand; NICU is providing lunch on Monday!"
So how far removed from Abbott is Medimmune? Did they buy the product from Abbott, or are they just the marketing agent now? I don't understand some of these corporate deals, but I'd like to give answers when eyes start to roll as the say, "Oh, I forgot. You don't do that, do you?"
As in LCs don't attend lunches provided by formula manufacturers.
It's easier to just be busy with the moms during lunch so I don't have to go into it all over again.
